PLEASE READ BELOW BEFORE POSTING!
The purpose of Colorado Belly Dance is to communicate workshops, shows, and events in Colorado.
Colorado Belly Dance site embraces all styles of Belly Dance and groups in Colorado. If you are in the immediate surrounding area, feel free to check the date and post.
1 - The calendar is intended to prevent overlapping large events such as workshops, haflas, large shows, and more....
Please use the calendar as intended and check to see if the date is marked before posting.
The calendar is mainly for larger venues/events - rather than small gatherings and parties.
Examples: Workshops that can accommodate 25+ dancers, occasional shows on a larger scale, out of town guest conducting workshops, etc.
Weekly events like restaurants, classes, etc can be posted on the Guestbook. The Guestbook is intended to know who is teaching in what area of town.
2 - The calendar can be used to mark tentative dates (We encourage you to do that so others see your intended dates. Once you know your date then write Phoenix to have the information removed and repost.)
UPDATES and DELETES to calendar are done through Phoenix.
Please do not worry about waiting until you have all info -- you can send Phoenix the updated info (just paste it into an email exactly how you would like it cut and pasted into the information boxes). Unfortunately - opening the calendar for updates/deletes also opens up all functions including potentially deleting the site and calendar so that is why update/delete is not seen as a public function (the fun of a free calendar).
PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE TENTATIVE DATES - write Phoenix to delete incorrect dates so that the calendar is accurate and dependable for the community.
3 - Fill in the specifics: Sponsor Name, Sponsor Email and/or Phone Number, City of Event, Who Is Coming or Title of Event, Confirmed or Tentative. This information should be posted on each date if the Event spans more than one day.
Please put in a contact -- dates without a contact email or website may be deleted.

4 - The site is open to ALL styles of Belly Dance.
